Product information "Cymbalaria muralis"
Kenilworth ivy is a true all-rounder, even under difficult conditions. This perennial is only 10 cm high and spreads very quickly like a carpet via short runners. Above the ivy-like, light green, leathery and very fine leaves, countless, whitish light violet, lip-shaped flowers with a yellow throat appear from June until September. Full sun to partial shade with well-drained, moist and rich soils are preferred. This plant is ideal for rock gardens and stone enclosures as well as stairways and wall cracks, where it also likes to reseed itself. In conjunction with water that splashes over walls, the fine character comes to its best advantage (e.g. the larger cascade fountain at Herrenhausen Gardens).Flower colour: Blue, pink
