Product information "Astilbe x arendsii 'Cattleya'"
This astilbe is an interesting shrub for partially shaded locations in the background of flower beds. Its feathery, deep pink panicles appear above the compound, dark green foliage from the end of July to the beginning of September. Its growth is bushy, clump-like and straight upright. This plant prefers a partially shaded to shaded location with fresh to moist, nutrient-rich soil. This pretty perennial can be used in shady perennial beds, near streams and beds near ponds, or at the edge of shrubs. It has an especially nice effect in conjunction with larger ferns, Lindheimer's beeblossom, hostas and great masterwort. This astilbe also gives bouquets a certain lightness with its appearance.Flower colour: Pink
