Product information "Dark Purple-flowered Periwinkle"
Vinca minor 'Marie' impresses with its stocky, dense growth. With a height of 15 cm, this variety grows flat and strong; it is particularly suitable for planting larger graves.Plants per square meter: 6-8 pieces
When compared with native wild varieties, 'Marie' has advantages. The dark green leaves are smaller and are more dense, thus forming compact plants. This beautiful variety has large, dark bluish violet flowers that appear in April. A second bloom is expected in September. The plants are very vigorous and extremely floriferous.
Vinca minor 'Marie' can be planted both in shaded areas as well in sunny locations. Apart from a basic fertilisation in the spring and regular watering in dry conditions, the plant is extremely healthy, robust and easy to maintain.
