Product information "Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Hameln'"

Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Hameln' is an elite variety that forms compact and low-growing clumps.
The picturesque, overhanging grassy leaves are a great backdrop for the inflorescences that appear in late summer.
Pennisetum loves sun and the soil may not be too wet. The foliage should cut back only in early spring, since it protects the plant from wetness and winter conditions and also still has a decorative aspect, when hoarfrost “silvers” the inflorescences.
Dwarf fountain grass is very hardy.
