Product information "Campanula cochleariifolia 'Blue Baby'"
This dwarf bellflower is a specialty since it has double flowers. It should be in every rock garden. It spreads relatively quickly via short underground runners, and thus forms dense carpets. Also known as fairies' thimbles, this plant has oval, heart-shaped, pointed, light green foliage. The oblong, light violet, bell-shaped flowers appear from June until well into August. This plant prefers locations in full sun with well-drained, not too humid soil. It performs especially well in perennial beds, borders, rock gardens, on stairways as well as in troughs and containers. It can also be very attractive in drywalls. Campanula cochleariifolia provides a very good effect together with other cushion-forming rock garden perennials.Flower colour: Blue
