Product information "Alchemilla mollis"
The soft lady's mantle is a very popular perennial. It has a clump-like growth and comes from Romania, Russia and the Northern Iran. Its silky, soft, hairy leaves are roundish, slightly indented and slightly serrated. From mid-May until well into July, there are countless, loosely branched, greenish yellow flower spikes that extend through the foliage. The plant should be planted in partial shade to shade and the soil should be moist and preferably loamy and fresh. Alchemilla mollis finds use in borders, perennial beds, as an underplanting for shrubs, in parks or along river banks. This perennial ground cover is likely to be used for edging in large plantings as low replacement of shrubs. This 'yellow Gypsophila' is used more and more in floristry for both fresh as well as dry bouquets. Cut back after flowering to prevent self-seeding and encourage new growth.Flower colour: Yellow, green
