Product information "Globularia punctata"

Common globe floweris a native wild plant in the Ranunculaceae family. Its distinctive, blue flowers are really special.
The rosette-like, slightly leathery-like leaves of Globularia punctata are vaguely reminiscent of the leaves of daisies. However this globe flower, with its 40 cm high flower stalks on which the violet-blue, ball-shaped flowers sit, reach a somewhat more imposing height.
Common globe flower grows best in loose, light soil, which may be more calcareous. It prefers full sun and it ideally suited for rock gardens where it can be wonderfully combined with Sempervivum, Euphorbia or Lewisia. This plant has good hardiness.
