Creeping forget-me-not is a charming, small ground cover for semi-shady to sunny locations and fresh, humus, lime-free soils.
The bright green, heart-shaped leaves are wide, lanceolate and almost heart-shaped. This perennial forms runners and forms dense carpets. The small, blue flowers with white eyes appear in April and May.
Omphalodes verna is a pretty underplanting for trees and shrubs, in combination with hostas or ostrich ferns.
