Dwarf snapdragon is low-growing and is particularly well suited for rock gardens. It has grey-green, round to oval leaves. Countless tiny, two-lobed, light purple flowers with a creamy yellow throat form from June until well into August. Chaenorrhinum origanifolium 'Blue Dream' develops particularly well in full sun with well-drained, rather dry, humus-rich soils. This garden treasure can be used in garden rockeries as well as in stone enclosures and containers. This plant is usually biennial, but it reseeds itself plentiful and easily. In addition, it should be protected from winter waterlogging.
