Product information "Chiastophyllum oppositifolium"

Lamb's tail is an extremely attractive succulent perennial. Its growth is very flat, cushion-shaped to carpet-like. It has dark green, fleshy, sessile and rosette-like leaves. The showy, small, arched, droopy, bright yellow inflorescences appear in June and July. It prefers partial shade with well-drained, fresh and cool soils. Since the plant copes very well with dryness and even willingly grows in the shade, it makes an ideal ground cover for particularly difficult to be planted sites. Chiastophyllum oppositifolium is suitable for natural gardens, forest gardens, under trees, for grave plantings, bed enclosures, shady areas in rock gardens and dry stone walls. This all-rounder brings light into many a shady corner of the garden.
