Product information "Geranium renardii 'Phillipe Vapelle'"
Due to its flowers, Geranium renardii 'Philippe Vapelle' is the most beautiful representative of the genus of renard geraniums. The leaves are round and slightly frosted, so they appear a bit like soft, gray-green suede. In a protected site Geranium renardii 'Phillipe Vapelle' is even evergreen. The small, violet, dark-veined flowers appear from June to July. Combined with the reddish foliage of Heuchera micrantha 'Palace Purple' or Ajuga 'Atropurpureum', there is a wonderful contrast of colours.
Renard geranium is ideal for stone or gravel beds, where the beautiful foliage has the best effect.
A site in full sun or partial shade in well-drained, humus-rich soil without waterlogging is optimal. It has good hardiness.
