Product information "Dracocephalum argunense 'Blue Carpet'"

Dragon's head is a rather forgotten perennial that is actually worth gaining more attention. It has bushy, clump-like growth, the shoots are prostrate. In the period between July and August, the bluish violet, lip-shaped flowers that stand in whorls and are reminiscent of a dragon's head appear above the bluish green, oblong, straight, entirely edged foliage. Dracocephalum argunense 'Blue Carpet' prefers a sunny to partially shaded spot with well-drained, moderately dry to moderately moist soil. This plant for enthusiasts can be used in stone and natural gardens, as well as in perennial beds. In addition, dragon’s head is a heavily visited forage crop for insects.
