Product information "Hemerocallis x cultorum 'Stella de Oro'"

Hemerocallis cultorum 'Stella de Oro' lives up to its name. Like a gold star it shines with its pure yellow flowers in perennial beds.

The garden daylily 'Stella de Oro' has a flowering period from late June to early September.
Its green foliage is long and narrow and the flower stems grow up to 40 cm high. This daylily can be used in group plantings, as well as a solitary perennial.

Hemerocallis is also suitable as a potted plant, however you should be careful that the soil in the pot does dries out too much because daylilies need lots of water during flowering.

The name “daylily” refers to the fact that each flower blooms for only one day, but Hemerocallis has many flowers.

Hemerocallis cultorum 'Stella de Oro' tolerates any normal garden soil, in a not too dry, sunny or semi-shady location. It blooms better in the sun. A location near the edge of a garden pond is most ideal.

It is also impressive in combination with Nepeta, Alchemilla mollis or Hosta. This garden daylily is suitable for natural plantings or garden ponds.
