Product information "Alyssum montanum 'Luna'"
Creeping basket of gold or mountain alyssum is a flat evergreen perennial that forms large cushions. From mid-March, numerous umbels with many small, bright golden yellow single flowers appear very close together above linear-lanceolate leaves close together. Alyssum montanum prefers a warm, sunny location, preferably with permeable, humus-rich, rather dry soil; this plant does not tolerate acidic soils or waterlogging. It is particularly well suited for rock gardens, dry stone walls in larger beds as a foreground plant, in planters and pots. It is very attractive when combined with other perennials such as candytuft, aubretia, early phlox, etc.Flower colour: Yellow
