Product information "Aster pansus 'Snow Flurry'"

When planted in the foreground of a flower bed, this aster is similar to a snow storm; this ground covering perennial is covered with tiny snow white florets that make it look like a carpet of snow. Its stems have fine, dark green leaves and lie arching on the ground. The countless, star-shaped blossoms appear from the end of September until well into October. This plant loves to grow in locations with full sun and nutrient-rich, not too dry soils; it tolerates short periods of drought and in shady locations, it does not bloom quite as lush. This aster is particularly well suited as a border plant for perennial beds and mixed borders; it can be planted in pots or even in flower containers or boxes in autumn. In natural plantings, it can be planted extensively so the carpet character particularly comes into its own. A single plant can cover up to one square metre. This aster is an absolute must for every friend of perennials.
