Product information "Delphinium x belladonna 'Atlantis'"
Delphinium is one of the most beautiful garden perennials with its tall flowers that grow up to 2 m high. This delphinium has a clump-like, tight, upright habit. Starting in June, the unbranched flower spikes appear on the palmately lobed, lush green foliage. The loosely dispersed, violet blue flowers have a striking, black spot with a yellow centre. This perennial prefers sunny locations with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soils. It finds use in large perennial beds, mixed borders and in all other large garden situations, due to its imposing size. Pruning the withered panicles promotes a continuous, second bloom far into the autumn months. In addition, the flower spikes should be tied up when there is imminent heavy rainfall or strong winds.Flower colour: Blue, violet/purple
