Product information "Herniaria glabra 'Serpyllifolia'"

Herniaria glabra 'serpyllifolia' is an undemanding, super flat growing ground cover for soil that contains little lime, rock gardens, heather gardens or gravel beds.
Smooth rupturewort has leaves that are reminiscent of thyme leaves; this perennial prefers warm, lime-poor soils. The flowers are fairly innocuous and greenish white.
Nevertheless, this robust ground cover can fill the gaps between other rock garden inhabitants such as houseleeks or Lewisia, without stealing the show.
Smooth rupturewort grows best in well-drained, loose soil in full sun.
