Product information "Artemisia schmidtiana 'Nana'"

Dwarf schmidt wormwood is an ornamental perennial. It forms compact clumps that are about 25 cm high with fine, silver-grey, hairy, pinnate leaves. The white, grape-like flower of Artemisia schmidtiana 'Nana' bloom from June to the end of July. This plant prefers a warm location in full sun with well-drained, dry and nutrient-poor soil. Winter wetness and waterlogging can cause the plant to wither. A light winter protection consisting of twigs should be used against frosts. It is especially ideal in stone troughs, in rock gardens and in one-toned flower beds as a foreground plant, e.g. with other silvery white plants. Or it can be used as a counterpoint to dark-leaved plants. This particular eye-catcher should not be missing in any rock garden.
