Product information "Festuca Cinerea Hybrid 'Azurit'"

Blue fescue 'Azurite' grow prickly upright in small, dense clumps that are up to 20 cm high. It is rather inconspicuous by nature, but with its blue stalks, it is a nice accompaniment to ground covering plants such as Alyssum montanum 'Berggold'. The small flowers with yellowish panicles appear in June/July.

Like all fescues, it grows well in light, permeable soil, in a location with full sun. As a former steppe inhabitant, it is perfect companion.

The Festuca cinerea hybrid 'Azurite' grows best in groups of 3-5 plants, between Erica and Calluna, or with evergreens that have similar soil requirements.
