Product information "Dicentra eximia"

Wild bleeding heart is a dwarf relative of the common bleeding heart, however it blooms much longer. It has a clump-like growth with slightly overhanging panicles. From May until into August, many, small, pink, heart-shaped flower panicles appear above the bright green, fern-like foliage. Locations in full sun to partial shade are preferred. The soil should be well-drained, nutrient-rich and humus-rich. Dicentra eximia can be used in bed plantings and near all kinds of shrubs; it is also attractive in shaded perennial beds in conjunction with hostas, ferns, foamflowers and other valuable shade perennials. Its flowers give bouquets that certain romantic something.
