Product information "Echinacea purpurea 'Rubinstern'"

Coneflower is a very popular perennial that has become a breeding focus in recent years and there are now a number of diverse varieties. Echinacea are becoming more popular and now have a large number of fans. The pale coneflower has bushy, clump-like, very upright growth. From July to into September, the strongly arched, very large, terminal disc florets appear, surrounded by very fine, rayed, strongly curved downward, pinkish red florets above the dark green, entirely edged, sometimes faintly sinuated foliage. Coneflowers prefer locations in full sun with well-drained, warm and dry, but not too fertile soil. It does not tolerate conditions that are constantly moist. This perennial can be used in attractive perennial beds, mixed borders, cottage gardens, but also in natural plantings in locations with full sun. This butterfly magnet is also particularly good for cutting.
