Product information "Tomato 'Indigo Rose' (seeds)"

The tomato variety 'Indigo Rose' is a real eye-catcher! It ripens late in the year, but still has good yields. The approximately 50 g heavy tomatoes, which are named after the play of colours that this variety provides, are green tomatoes that quickly turn black when exposed to light. The ripe fruits are more of a purple shade and have a high content of valuable anthocyanins. They are ideal for fresh consumption in salads or vegetable dishes but also especially for decorating meals.
In sheltered (covered) cultivation. 'Indigo Rose' should be regularly tied up and pinched.
Starting in August.
Dark, deep black fruits; when fully ripe they are reddish purple and have a spicy aroma. Fruit weight approx. 50 g.
The crop should be protected or made rainproof by planting under a roof.
