Product information "Blueberry Bluesbrothers"

The berries are dancing! Bluesbrothers® is a classic blueberry with very large fruit; it is medium late ripening and very aromatic, thanks to a lot of sugar and a simultaneously present, good sourness of the fruit. But what distinguishes Bluebrothers® is its temperament! We have never met a blueberry that grows as bushy and blooms and bears fruit so richly and intensely. It’s just crazy. Just like the Blue Brothers! Maybe their suits were...blue.

Maturity: The first fruits are ready in late July; in Switzerland or southern Germany in mid-July; in northern Germany, the harvest goes to mid-September, in Switzerland and southern Germany until mid/late August
Fruits: Medium to large
Flavour: One of the most substantial blueberries, quite similar to Blue Dessert, sweetly paired with a refreshing sourness!
Yield: A blue wave; at full maturity it is hard to see the leaves through all the fruits! A merry Bluesbrothers concert.
Growth: The most compact and bushiest all High Bush Blueberries and all cultivated blueberries; ideal for growing in pots

Tips

Pruning compact growing blueberries Even with compact growing blueberries such as Blue Drop, Sunshine Blue and Little Blue Wonder, pruning for rejuvenation and renewal of growth should not be forgotten. Due to the large and exhausting fruitfulness, these productive plants would otherwise increasingly get woody. So it is necessary to cut out old shoots that have already bore fruit as low as possible to a stub in order to stimulate new growth at least every 2-3 years.
