Product information "Firstberry® 'Blue Hokkaido'"

The Firstberry 'Blue Hokkaido' has the high yield typical of our highbush varieties and healthy foliage until autumn, thanks to its Japanese origin. The large fruits are frosted white and have an excellent flavour.
Be sure to leave the berries hanging on the bush until they reach full maturity.
'Blue Hokkaido' produces a slightly bigger harvest than 'Blue Pagoda'. It also grows more vigorous and firmer and is also robust and ornamental.
Maturity: Mid-June, let berries hang 2 weeks longer for full maturity
Berries: Large, oblong berries, it’s almost like an exotic pearl curtain is distributed over the
shrub, medium-sized, elongated, sweet and aromatic
Growth/health: Extremely taut, upright; the shoots show their berries and can be harvested well, 160 - 200 cm high, 1 to 1.5 m planting distance
Yield: Very large, 1 to 5 kg per shrub is possible
Pollination: 'Blue Hokkaido' is self-infertile, 'Blue Pagoda' is ideal as a pollinator
