Product information "Raspberry Frambeasy® Autumn Amber®"

Simple cultivation: Bears fruit on this year’s canes, absolutely thornless, cut back in late spring and harvest again in August
Maturity: From about 10 August to the end of September, extremely fruitful
Fruits: Very large, stable, conically built; the beautiful, apricot colour and also the gourmet flavour arise only when fully ripe, so wait until the fruits turn from yellow to apricot
Growth: Very upright and healthy, the canes are completely thornless
Health: Resistant to soil-borne diseases, no worms

What are Frambeasy and where do they come from?
Frambeasy is the name of the new, completely thornless and resistant autumn raspberries that have been bred in East Malling byFelicidad Fernandez. They were selected by Lubera and have been brought exclusively on the market to Europe.

The 100-year-old Research Institute East Malling, Kent (UK)
East Malling is probably the most famous European Research Institute of Pomology and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013. Globally, 80% of all fruit trees are grafted on M or MM rootstocks, all of which were bred in East Malling. We at Lubera are proud that we work closely with East Malling. For example, we select raspberry varieties for the home garden market in East Malling and bring these varieties exclusively to the European market.

These are plants that can be enjoyed immediately and without effort once planted.
  • Lubera Breeding This plant was bred by Lubera in Switzerland and placed on the market after extensive testing at our facilities in Buchs (CH) and Bad Zwischenahn (D). In 20 years of work, Lubera's founder and breeder Markus Kobelt has bred more than 80 of his own new varieties for the home garden; they all have the goal of providing you, our customers, with more experience and flavour, easier growing and more resistant, more robust varieties.
