Lubera stops plant deliveries to the UK
Due to Brexit, we are not able to deliver to the UK. We are working on a solution on how we can continue to bring a wide range of Lubera plants to the UK and directly to our customers' homes in the future. However, such a solution will not be available before 2022 or 2023.

Product information "Currant Ribest® Glasperle®"

The Ribest® Glasperle® currant is a white, late variety that ripens in August. It has extremely long strings with almost transparent berries and a mild flavour.
White currants belong botanically to the red currants. In former times, white currants were much more likely to be found in private gardens. Their flavour was much milder when compared to red and black currants. Today, there are also white varieties, such as the currant Ribest® Glasperle®, with very large, aromatic fruits. Unlike the older varieties, they are also resistant to fungal diseases.
Maturity: Mid/late July to early August
Strings/berries: Extremely long strings, packed with almost transparent, glass-like berries
Flavour: Mild, the strings should hang as long as possible
Growth/health: Tight, upright, one of the most robust varieties
Yield: Gigantic yields
Training: As a bush, on a trellis; due to the growth, also possible as a spindle
