Product information "Moreberry®: red AND white currants in one pot"

The moreberry with red currant Ribest® Sonette® and white currant Ribest® Blanchette® is a duo that complements each other: while Ribest® Blanchette® matures at the end of June and in July, Ribest® Sonette® waits until early August to ripen, which means that you can harvest berries for about two months.  The colours of the two varieties also complement each other perfectly: until the harvest, this moreberry makes a special impression visually. With the red and white contrast, one is reminded of their Swiss origin. Or is it more likely their wish that some of them find a new home in Austria?
We don’t know for sure, but what we do know is that this double berry is also tasty, in addition to the ornamental value of the fruits: after the sweet temptation (Blanchette®) matures, a somewhat sour, flavourful bomb (Sonette®) follows.
Currants are largely self-fertile, but due to the close association of these two varieties in one moreberry, (cross-) pollination is supported. A better fruit set is the result and this promotes the stability of the fruit (less dropping).
And this moreberry can do this all at the same time: you not only get to enjoy two different plants at once, but these are two, well-matched currant varieties that are special Lubera cultivars (particularly easy to grow, robust, healthy).
The moreberry currant features the following advantages:
• Varied colours and ornamental value
• A long harvest and ripening time; there is always fruit for your cereal
• Higher yields, thanks to better pollination
• Different aromas and flavours
• More variety in the smallest space
The moreberry currant can be placed anywhere in smaller gardens, as it only takes up about 1 m² of garden space. Thanks to the density of the bush and the two varieties, it is also well suited as an ornamental hedge or it can be planted at the edge of a vegetable bed, which can create a very different garden environment and still be highly visible. And lastly, all berry combinations are also perfectly suitable for growing in pots; however it is important to always select a container with a volume of at least 25-30 litres.
