Why plant and where to plant Sanibelle (R)?
Root death, Phytophthora, is the greatest enemy of summer raspberries. This disease is particularly strong in rather heavy and wet soils. Sanibelle (R) should be planted in such locations; it is the first, good Phytophtora resistant raspberry that can also be cultivated easily in less favourable locations. Sanibelle also has very large and tasty fruit. Like the name suggests, it is healthy and beautiful, and also still flavourful.

Sanibelle was bred in Weihenstephan and was introduced exclusively to the Lubera.
