Product information "Autumn raspberry Schlaraffia® Naschmich (Nibbleme)"

The commandment that you should not be lead to temptation is consistently disregarded by this new Schlaraffia® raspberry.
First of all, Schlaraffia® Naschmich (Nibbleme) ripens incredibly early. Except for Lowberry® Little Sweet Sister it is the earliest ripening autumn raspberry in our range. No wonder that the garden friend’s mouth waters, even when he/she has not yet eaten one of these raspberries.
Secondly, Schlaraffia® Naschmich (Nibbleme) – one cannot put it any other way – bear fruits so proudly and abundantly that the gardener cannot resist the temptation in any way. The tight, upright canes that mostly stand up by themselves have little branching and are thornless. The top 30-40 cm of the canes are full of huge raspberry fruits, hanging there, as if they would call to the gardener: "Pick me finally, I want to be eaten and enjoyed. Now!"
And thirdly? You can eat as much as you like of the Schlaraffia® Naschmich (Nibbleme) raspberries; there are still more than enough fruits to freeze and process. This variety is particularly well suited for that with its large, concentrated harvest.
Schlaraffia Naschmich (Nibbleme) bears huge, conical fruits and in our Lubera® range, only Primeberry® Malling Happy is slightly larger. The taste is round and good, with sugar and fruit acid, but without being offending. The aftertaste has a nice raspberry aroma. Neither the sour nor the sweet fruit lovers will have any complaints with Schlaraffia® Naschmich (Nibbleme).
The benefits of the autumn raspberry Schlaraffia® Naschmich (Nibbleme)
• Upright growth with thornless, strong canes
• Huge fruits at the end of the canes, easy to pick
• A concentrated, very early harvest at the 2nd half of July and first half of August
Nibble me to delay autumn raspberries
Of course, the concentrated harvest of Naschme (Nibbleme) is an advantage and can be used mainly by garden lovers and fruit lovers who want to freeze or process a larger amount of fruit in addition to enjoying the fruits daily (so to speak for “pleasure”).
But what do you have to do if you want a second ripening of fruit in mid-August to the end of September? For this purpose, you should simply cut a third of the growing young canes back to a stub of 5 cm at about the end of May. This has a double effect: 1. The remaining young canes will grow even faster, bloom sooner and the harvest is correspondingly earlier. 2. Due to the pruning, new canes develop from the base but from side shoots, which then bear will fruit in August until into September. Schlaraffia® Naschmich (Nibbleme) also has the ability to form a stable fruit size over the entire harvest period and also on later developed canes. The fruits hardly get smaller over time.
