Product information "Dwarf Raspberry Lowberry® Baby Dwarf®"

The dwarf raspberry Lowberry® Baby Dwarf® shows a completely new growth type for raspberries: this dwarf raspberry barely grows taller than 50 cm high; it bears fruit in the first year at the tips of the shoots and side shoots, and is an autumn raspberry so to speak. But if you do not cut back the shoots all the way, but leave 10 - 20 cm of old wood, the harvest starts in June and it will not stop until September. At the same time, this makes the dwarf raspberry Lowberry® Baby Dwarf® the first super compact raspberry and also one of the first Alltimer Raspberries, as it bears fruit throughout the summer. Due to its growth, Baby Dwarf® is of course particularly suited for growing in pots, but small raspberry hedges can also be created in the garden or something similar.

Maturity/harvest: June/July on last year's canes, from August on the new canes that have grown this year.

Fruits: Small, round fruits, slightly smaller than the other Lowberry® raspberries. However, Baby Dwarf® compensates with a permanent offer of fruit throughout the summer.

Flavour: The small fruits have an excellent flavour, with the typical, intense taste of raspberry; despite the relative smallness of the fruit, they are very juicy; it is a real wild raspberry experience in miniature in your own garden or on a balcony and terrace/patio.
