Product information "Large-fruited Physalis Tropicana"

The Physalis Tropicana is a large, fruity cape gooseberry  with a very exotic, aromatic flavour. The fruits can be stored well, the harvest lasts until after the first frost.
 
Cultivation:
Suitable for outdoor plantings, but a protected cultivation or growing in containers is also possible. The location should be as sunny and airy as possible.
We recommend offering Physalis Tropicana only few nutrients and not too much water. The plants remain more compact, resilient and they have richer flowering.
 
Space requirements:
The planting distance should be 70-100 cm, alternatively, planting in a pot or container (with a volume of at least 7 L) is possible.
 
Harvest:
August to October.
 
Fruits:
Very large Physalis fruits, the taste is sweet and sour with wonderfully exotic flavour. Suitable for storage.
