Product information "DeliDahlia® Hapet® Kennedy"

The Delidahlia® Kennedy is the second red variety in our Delidahlias® series. This belies the statement that is sometimes heard that the yellow varieties taste the best. At our many tastings, we were able to note that the dahlias’ good taste has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with the flower colours. In our tests, the Delidahlia® Kennedy was the variety with the highest yields, and it simultaneously represents one of the spiciest varieties. Because of its compact growth it is also suitable for growing in containers.

Dahlia group: Container dahlia
Flower type: Semi-cactus dahlia
Height: up to 100 cm
Tubers: Various forms are possible, looks like very elongated potatoes, high yields in our experiments
Taste/texture: Soft and almost melting; very spicy and intense; reminiscent of fennel and celery

Tips

Growing Delidahlias® in containers Choose a container with a volume of at least 15 litres or more; the larger the pot, the better the Delidahlia® can develop; it can form more tubers and the irrigation stress is smaller for both the plant and the gardener.
