Lubera stops plant deliveries to the UK
Due to Brexit, we are not able to deliver to the UK. We are working on a solution on how we can continue to bring a wide range of Lubera plants to the UK and directly to our customers' homes in the future. However, such a solution will not be available before 2022 or 2023.

Product information "DeliDahlia® Hapet® Sunset"

The Delidahlia® Hapet® Sunset – in addition to Hapet® Kennedy and Hapet® Buga München – is another compact dahlia in our range of edible dahlias for growing in containers. Due to the compact growth, it can be readily and easily grown in pots and containers with a volume of 15 L or more and it does not need much support. It is one of the varieties with the longest cooking time; if Sunset is not fully cooked, the tubers will be too firm and too fibrous. But when it is cooked properly, Hapet® Sunset is characterised by a delicious vegetable flavour.

Dahlia group:
Container dahlia
Flower type: Semi-cactus dahlia
Height: up to 100 cm
Tubers: Elongated tubers, good to high yields
Taste/texture: Rather coarse, grainy texture; must be well peeled and cooked a little longer; tastes fresh and green, subtle flavour of kohlrabi, more vegetable than a potato ...

Using the Delidahlia® tubers When preparing like vegetables, use mainly the younger dahlia tubers; they usually have a better consistency and texture than the older, central tubers. However, the latter can be easily processed to hash browns and the like – or they can be stored properly and planted again next year.
