Product information "Outdoor Aubergine Obsidian"
The outdoor eggplant 'Obsidian' is a round aubergine variety with good yields. It is an open-pollinated variety with visually appealing fruits and attractive, light purple flowers. It comes from Northern China and is much less sensitive than other varieties. However, the fruit quality is in no way inferior to them.Planting:
Plant after the last frost (usually towards the end of May). Do not plant too early. Aubergine is grateful for a sunny, warm location. The planting distance should be about 60 cm.
Cultivation:
'Obsidian' is suitable for outdoor cultivation. In cool regions a little protection is recommended. Please remove the first flower for better branching.
Harvest:
From late July to mid-October.
Fruits:
Dark, round fruits with a beautiful, purple shine.
- Available May, June
