The outdoor pepper 'Sweet Banana' stands out due to its high yield in outdoor cultivation. This robust variety can cope with unprotected cultivation in a warm place. Throughout the summer it forms many fruits that are up to 20 cm long and 5 cm thick after they change colour to red in late summer. All uses for sweet peppers from fresh consumption (delicious in yellow and red!) to grilling and filling are possible. The peppers are partly straight but also curved – just like bananas.
 
Cultivation:
Suitable for outdoor plantings, but also a protected cultivation or growing in a container is possible. We recommend breaking the main bud to get better branching. The plants normally do not require any additional support.
 
Space requirements:
The planting distance should be 40 cm, alternatively, plant in a pot or container (with a volume of at least 5 L).
 
Harvest:
August - October, very productive.
 
Fruits:
Pointed pepper with soft, slightly fruity pods that turn from green to orange to red.
 
Resistance:
Ideal for outdoor cultivation, very robust with good health and high stability.
