Product information "Peanut plant (Not) Just Peanuts® Justpink®"

The peanut plant Justpink® has the highest yield in our experiments, with beautiful and medium-sized nuts. 100 pods on average per plant result in well over 200 nuts – a record yield. This is certainly also due to the bushy, well-branched growth of Justpink®: more shoots produce more flowers close to the ground, which leads to more peanuts – the calculation is as simple as that. There is only one small drawback: Justpink® with its pink to brown seed coats and also with the medium size of the nuts is the closest to the mainstream varieties that we buy in the bag... But what the heck: the very special thing about this variety and the other (Not) Just Peanuts® varieties is that it is easy to grow peanuts in our northern gardens. In a garden assortment, Justpink® is dependable – simply because this variety guarantees a large and reliable yield.

Advantages of the peanut variety Justpink®

  • The highest yielding of all the peanut varieties
  • Beautiful, medium-sized, pink nuts
  • Branched growth

Short description of the peanut plant Justpink®

Pods and nuts: The pods and nuts are medium in size, the nuts are beautifully pink in colour (the seed coat); a striking feature of this variety is the reliable yield and also the extent of the yield, which is probably directly related to the bushy growth.
Yield: Extremely high yield, well over 200 nuts per plant.
Planting: Early to mid-May.
Harvest: In September, as soon as about 50% of the leaves have dried or rotted. The stems should still be green when harvested, this guarantees the health of the pods and also ensures that the pods stick well to the plant and will come out of the ground more easily.
Special features: The special bushy growth of Justpink® could possibly be achieved in other varieties by pinching the young plants early.
